Hi, my name is Sean, a teacher by profession but a lifelong learner by definition. I’m dedicated to using my experience and skills to enhance virtual workplace engagement training focused on the meaning of teamwork for corporate clients.
Earning an NCAA athletic scholarship, I was able to attain my English degree and teaching certification at Hobart College, while also winning two ECAC Championships with the Statesmen’s hockey team.
After college, I was recruited to lead an innovative sports concentration initiative at Wabannutao Eeyou School. The main goal of the program was to build capacity through sport while encouraging student attendance. We developed learning modules to help youth better understand all the capabilities that are built and refined through the tactile learning environment.
Although most work has centered around youth – we build out the frameworks for athletes’ from all backgrounds and ages to better identify and refine the skills they have mastered through their athletic pursuits.
Currently, I am finalizing a Masters of Education with a focus on Assessment and Evaluation. This will allow us to gain further insight into the metrics we can use to define and develop skills through sport and repetition.
